IFAPP is pleased to announce the 11th European Conference, which will take place in London on February 4-5, 2010. The 2010 Conference will be jointly organized by DIA and IFAPP: this collaboration will generate an important synergistic effect, and will attract a significant number of participants and top level speakers will address their messages to a very large audience.

IFAPP launched the First European Conference in 1997: since then, almost every year in January or in February, IFAPP calls for an International Event, to discuss, among a selected group of experts, some of the most relevant issues in Clinical Development.

In the past events topics like Drug Safety, Biotechnology Products, Elderly Patients and Globalization of Clinical Development were covered by experts from Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia: and the discussion has always been very fruitful and productive, with significant contributions from Regulatory, Academia and Industry Speakers.

The next Conference will be named "DIA-IFAPP Pharmaceutical Policy Forum 2010" and will cover six different areas:

Transparency - EMEA transparency policy;
Future of Clinical Trial Legislation;
Intersection between pharmaceutical/device industry and healthcare;
Fraud and misconduct;
Globalisation - co-operation FDA and EMEA;
Standardisation of investigational site qualification.

We can certainly anticipate that the Conference will be very fruitful for all interested parties: so join us for a two days update on key issues in Clinical Development! The programme with a registration form is attached.

The conference has been awarded with 12 CPD credits from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK
